Note: Do not over tighten these bolts, as all that will do, is crush the rectangular tube. It is not necessary to have these bolts much over hand tight.
Install the (4) bolts in holes drilled in the legs after marking and drilling the holes through the Trailer or pickup bed. Try to locate a cross member under the trailer of pickup bed if possible where holes are to be drilled. Us a 7/16 drill bit, as this will help line up the base unit easy.
Note: You can install these clamp assemblies on the inside of the frame or on the outside of the frame. This will only matter if you have extras on your bike like: Crash bars, foot pegs, or oil coolers. Find the places were you have the most room to work and can install the Stabilizer arms with out problems. 4. Your top clamps after installation will look some thing like this:
5. Install the Stabilizer arms on the base unit at the anchor points and you are ready to load your bike on the trailer.
6. The Moki EZ Lock installed on a Trailer:
7. Load your Motorcycle with the front tire in the Wheel chock tightly and leave the bike in gear. Set the bike on the Kickstand and get off. Then slightly stand the bike upright until you install the Stabilizer arm over the Lench pin bolt. You can adjust the arms to make this easy by turning the center of the Stabilizer with the lock nut loose. After installing both Stabilizer arms tighten up all the nuts on top clamps and anchor points. Note: This will only have to be done one time after the bike is in location. After this the clamps on frame and anchor point will always stay tight. The only thing that is necessary to do each time is to adjust one side Stabilizer arm and lock it down. 8. The bike installed on a trailer in the Moki EZ Lock will not need any other nylon straps or help to hold your bike on the trailer. Bike loaded on a trailer will look some thing like this:
9. You can us Locks in place of the Lench pins for security purposes if you would like and some locks with larger shanks will fit better than other.
